The Rambling Range forms the southern border of the North and the northern border of Gardranth. These high, snowy peaks are nearly impassable in the winter months, though one or two passes are still fairly usable.

These are dead lands, filled with mile after mile of low downs and buttes. Little grows here, and even less lives here, not that anything would want to. The badlands are dangerous, but more so because of the chillingly cold climate and the terrain.

Glistening white towers soar over the sprawling city below, and even from afar it is easy to see why Dreyan is the jewel of the realm and also the capital city.

A vast tangle of trees and wild animals and paths that lead no where, the Warrior's Forest has a reputation as a dangerous place, and it is well that it forms the border between Gardranth and neighboring Darvidor.

Yewton is a small village on the outskirts of the Warrior's Forest. Famous for their bows, the little town has a fair trade in other weapons as well, and is more of a working and trading town -- few people live here year round.

A fire raged here in ancient days, leaving behind a hillside of fire ravaged trees. New growth is returning to the area, though much of it is still very barren.

Sprawling greenness blankets much of northern Gardranth, and the Great Northern Forest is filled with life and wildness seen nowhere else in such great concentration.

A thin, winding river, the Grassblade meanders lazily through the countryside of Gardranth, passing the capital city as well as many small towns and villages build along its banks.

Situated on a plain, Endinton is so large that it is almost city-size; it certainly has enough residents to be a city. Booming with industries of all sorts and filled with people from all levels of society, Endinton looks at first like a giant, moving patchwork quilt, and like a quilt holds together.

Stretching from the icy northern waters of Sardric Bay to the boarder shared with Darvidor, the coastal lands very greatly from speckled spots of woods to open plains to rocky beaches.

Capital of the Realm of Darvidor, Merice is a patchwork of different styles of architecture from many ages past that inexplicably blend together to form an exquisite mosaic of both history and art that is seen nowhere else on the continent.

Firetown is really a large city, and earned its name from the massive forge at its center, as well as the many other forges scattered throughout the city.

The Great Vale is a huge valley to the north of the capital, the north end bearing a magnificent waterfall and the southern tip a second, smaller waterfall that leads down into the smaller Lesser Vale. The two look like a distorted hourglass from above.

A dark, close wood, the Moaning Wood is known for the shifting sounds of trees that give it its name, though it is also rumored to be haunted, a rumor backed up by the lack of birdsong or any other 'normal' animals in the wood.

The town of Daring's Creek is large, bustling, and an agricultural hub in Darvidor.

The name does little justice to this bright and airy wood, and comes from an old story of a 'witch' (who was most likely a Sorcerer) who lived in the forest.

Running south to north, the rushing River Benth has its source deep in the Dragonback Mountains. The river has few fording points, remaining swift and deep for most of its length.

Eagle Point is actually shaped like an eagle's head, and very much like an eagle's eyrie on a rocky cliff. Windswept, rocky coastline traces the edge of the point, making it impossible and highly dangerous to build ports here.

The Mountains of the Waste are really on the border between Darvidor and the Wastelands, but because they are so barren and stark they earned a name associated with the equally barren lands to the west.

The Dragonback Mountains form part of the border between Darvidor and the Southern lands, stretching for many miles along the southern border of the realm.

A vast, barren expanse of land somewhere in between a desert and a plain, and the whole of the Sorcerers. Many commonly refer to it simply as the Waste.

The Hidden Spot refers to the secret place deep within the Wastelands that leads to the hidden city of the Sorcerers, Edrymark.

The Dark Coast at the very southern end of the continent is named for its black sands, and is riddled with small ports from both Darvidor and Gardranth.

Discovered in the early years of human civilization by the world renown explorer Ardin Deep, Deep's Lake is not only named after its discoverer but is actually the deepest lake in the whole of the continent, and is rumored to be the home of a terrible monster.

Surrounding the continent is a vast body of water known to all as the Great Ocean. This ocean contains many other bits of land, though the next largest are the islands from which those calling themselves Darvidorians once hailed, though they are now referred to as the Lost Islands, for no one has returned to them.

More a bay than an inlet, this body of water is riddled with sharp rocks, the remnants of a long gone reef, and it butts up to the coast of Gardranth and the Waste.

True to its name, Lesser Gull Bay is both smaller than its southern cousin, but it also has fewer sea gulls. This bay is shared along the borders of both Gardranth and the Northern lands.

Greater Gull Bay is a huge bay that forms much of the eastern coast of Darvidor, and is known for its unprecedented population of sea gulls.
